Prom 2009, and other life updates

So this beautiful young lady is Maloree Carroll. I took her to prom. It was the best! Her name almost rhymes with mine. If I spelled it Jeffery instead of Jeffrey, then it would. We laughed about that. Basically, she's amazing. She's going to BYU in the fall. So that gives me another reason to want to go to BYU once I graduate. It's crazy to me that I have only one more year of high school. Well, just about anyways.
Some other updates of my life. My english teacher that I gave the Book of Mormon to is progressing. She finished the Book of Mormon in about two weeks and I gave her a book about Joseph Smith written by Lucy Mack Smith and she's almost done with that. I also gave her a triple combination because she asked if there was any more scripture. She says it all makes sense. I asked her if she wanted to have the missionaries in her home. She's considering it, but needs to talk to her husband first. Then I asked if she wanted to come to church with me. She looked pleasantly surprised and said she hadn't thought about that. She needs to talk to her husband about that too. It's so exciting! I kind of wish she'd hurry up a bit, cause it's almost summer, but she's not the kind of person that can be rushed. But once she knows something, she KNOWS it. So I'll just be patient.
Volleyball is finally over. I really didn't like it that much this year. I'm considering playing tennis instead next year, but I haven't decided yet. I would hate to leave my team hanging like that, but it doesn't really make sense to me to play a sport when I don't enjoy doing it at all. So we'll see. I'm just glad it's over now. Now that it is though, I've got AP tests going on. I've already taken the Calculus one and I felt pretty good about it. At least I knew how to do everything except one tiny problem. And to get a 5, which is the highest, you only need about a 65%. So I'm not worried. But I'll knock on wood just cause I said that. KNOCK, KNOCK There, we're good. I've got the history test tomorrow, and that's something I am worried about. My teacher had a baby in the middle of the year, and we had a bad sub for a week after she left so we're just barely catching up this week. So we're caught up, but we haven't had any time for review. Oh well. Hopefully that 65% statistic will help. I've also got the AP Physics test on Monday and I'll be at Fathers and Sons all weekend, so I can't study.
I'm so excited for this school year to be over. Junior Year was a hard year. There were some weeks that were terrible. At least I got through them. So I've been looking at the costs of college, and I thought that I had it all figured out. Only problem was I was being naive and just assumed I'd get the scholarships I applied for. I heard back from one this week and they said no. It was for 30, 000 bucks, so it kind of messed up my whole plan. But then I got a letter from College Board telling me I'm still in the running for being a National Merit Scholar, and I hadn't counted on that. I took the ACT two weeks ago. I'm still waiting for my scores. Hopefully they'll be high enough to get the four year tuition to BYU. So, that's not all of my life, but I've kind of run out of time. I have to go study for my history test tomorrow.
